pain

Pain can be a debilitating nuisance. It can prevent us from doing important things and even enjoying life. Alas, we have many natural solutions to decrease and eliminate your pain!

In Chinese Medicine there's a common saying, "where there is pain, there is stagnation." To elaborate, where there is stagnation, there needs to be movement.

In this article and video, I'm going to share with you a product that will effectively create the movement needed to alleviate your pain.

Let's get to it. What's the product?

It's Tiger Balm!

Tiger Balm was originally formulated by a Chinese Medicinal Herbalist in the 1870s. Although he is no longer with us, his product remains true to its original formula.

You can use it almost anywhere on your body. This includes your upper neck and back, low back, arms, hands, butt, thighs, lower legs, and feet.

Tiger Balm is best used as needed throughout the day for up to seven to ten days. You do not want to use it multiple times a day for many months. When used this way, you'll habituate to the product and it will no longer be effective. To reiterate, Tiger Balm is best used intermittently over a long period of time.

Decreases Pain

The two active ingredients in Tiger Balm that alleviate pain are camphor and mint.

Camphor is the main active ingredient at 11{19866d2ec3b031a2ff3fb3b8e8a48ee2cb95ca11d70f9d06aaa04ec7407af0d5}. It will warm the painful area and also invigorate the Qi (chi) and blood where applied. This warmth and invigoration will facilitate movement. As you may remember, we need to generate movement to alleviate pain. Camphor will also eliminate congestion. This will help if the area is swollen.

In the western world, camphor is an analgesic and a circulatory stimulate.

Menthol or mint will cool the area of pain slightly. It will also move your Qi (chi). Mint is an excellent compliment to camphor because camphor is very warm. Menthol will cool the camphor, which will decrease its stimulate property. Menthol is active in the formula at 8{19866d2ec3b031a2ff3fb3b8e8a48ee2cb95ca11d70f9d06aaa04ec7407af0d5}.

In accordance with western medicine, Mint is an anti-inflammatory and an spasmodic.
